Trust Me Beggar Choice Book 2
i started off this book thinking it was a 4 star, but as it progressed i got more and more frustrated.sid is a recovering drug addict, guitar player for the group beggar's choice, and amazingly good looking (so far, so good!). nell is a singer who auditions to join the band. she's also amazingly good looking with loads of baggage (we aren't told until almost the end of the book what is going on with her, and it's all a bit anti-climatic)
both resist the growing attraction that accompanied their friendship, however by about half-way through the book they start falling in each other's arms. and here i started disliking the book. sid likes her so much he doesn't want to hurt her, and he thinks that as a drug addict he is bad for her, so every time they come together he pushes her away in really nasty ways, without explaining what's going on. and nell loves him so much that she shouts at him for 3 seconds, then they have angry sex, and then he disappears again. this happens 3 or 4 times without any real other plot development.
i am going to try the 3rd in the series anyway, mainly because i loved summer of us and promise me, fingers crossed...

Trust Me Beggar Choice Book 2 Reviews
I had to read this story in one day, I had to know what was going to happen next. The characters are warm, real, and lovable-this story will pull at your emotions. The end is satisfying with a HEA that is just right. I recommend reading Promise Me first, this series is worth the time.
I loved Sid in book one of this series so I was excited to read his story. Everything was great up to a certain point but then he turned into an idiot lol and made me want to murder him!! What a rediculous set of circumstances, I mean really! Then that ending...epic! So sweet! Can't wait to see what's next! Hope it's Bram's story!
Trust Me is the second book in the Beggars Choice Series about 4 Rock Gods in a band by the same name-
I loved the premise of this story and fell in love with Sid from the first book Promise Me - I truly hope Lily Morton continues this series and sooo looking forward to Bram. I laughed alot and shed a tear and Sid comesthisclose to crossing a line that he needed to be hit over the head- but he more than makes up for it - I am an avid reader of Rock Romances and this shot to the top of my Favorites List This book is that good!
Once again, with Book 2 in this series, Morton draws three-dimensional people. She hits all the right emotional notes (again) at the right times, and you feel everything the heroine is feeling. Sid has his points of view here and there, too, but it’s mostly through her POV.
The only thing missing is, what happened with Bill? I’d have loved to see him sacked.
This book put me through the wringer!!! I had to take a break and message my book buddy Kathy because I was a blubbering mess at one point. And that ladies is a brilliantly written book......
This book will put you through every emotion imaginable. I am freaking floving the characters, storyline, hot AF sex scenes and well dangit everything about this series. This hits home for myself considering I grew up with drug addicted parents a d I have a twin sister whom makes my heart smile. I couldn't, wouldn't, and never dream of my life or next breath without her. I liked that this book dealt with some heavy issues and it actually had more of a Rocker feel to it.
Since I don't do spoilers just know this book and series is amazing CHECK it out NOW!!
Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
I really enjoyed the Charlie's book, but this one was even better. The characters were even better. The characters were more developed and I loved knowing more about Sid. I liked how the band members came more into the story and from the viewpoint of someone who didn't know them for such a long time. I hope there are more books in this series and I look forward to reading them!
So. I am currently a little addicted to this authors work. It had everything I like in a romance and some tropes I love. It had a few misunderstandings. I know this trope is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s totally mine. Hurt and comfort, rock stars and a tour. Sigh. Loved the drama and angst and it is super hot with a nice slow build. Loved it. Sid was such a broody and broken hero and I just loved Nell. I am straight into the 3rd book now and hope the 4th is coming sometime soon!!!!!
